Activists of Jamaat-i-Islami Women Wing on Friday staged a demonstration in front of Lahore Press Club to protest Israeli aggression against Lebanon and to press the government not to repeal Hudood Ordinance. The demonstrators who were carrying placards chanted slogans in favour of their demands.
Addressing the demonstrators, JI women's wing leaders said that parliament has no authority to pass any law against the Quran and Sunnah as well as Constitution of Pakistan. About Israeli aggression on Lebanon and Palestine, they urged the Islamic world to forge unity to face the present challenges. Samia Raheel Qazi, Member National Assembly, Tahira Munir, MPA, Afia Sarwar and Atiyya Rahat also participated in the demonstration.
