Chairman of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Raja Zafarul Haq has condemned the Israeli aggression on the innocent people of Lebanon and said that there was no justification of attack on Lebanon.
Addressing a protest rally held here after Juma prayers he said that the OIC and the UN have become silent spectators while the Israel has been given a free hand to massacre the Muslims.
He said that Israel wants to change the map and frontiers of Middle East and it doesn't accept the UN resolutions. He further said that Muslims are being massacred all over the world but the world institutions, especially the United Nations and Organisation of Islamic Conference are playing no role. He said that the OIC should have convened the meeting immediately after the attack but it has called the meeting on August 3 which he termed would give more time to Israel to continue attacks.
The PML-N leader said that the US hatred among the people, particularly in the Muslim states, is on the increase. He said that the UN had been formed to maintain peace in the world but it has badly failed in maintaining peace as it was its fundamental responsibility.
Earlier, the PML-N activists and workers staged a protest rally against the Israeli bombardment on Lebanon. The demonstrators had placards in their hands inscribed with slogans against the US and Israel. They also raised full throat slogans against the Israeli and American aggression.
