The Photo-Dynamic Diagnosis in Ultrasound (PDDU) programme would benefit both doctors and patients, said Dr Nasrullah Malik, Registrar, National University of Science and Technology (Nust) here on Saturday.
"A doctor cannot diagnose without acquiring this latest technology. This diploma programme is first step towards provision of better know-how to the doctors", he added. He was addressing the certificate distribution ceremony of 5th and 6th batches of the PDDU Programme, held at NUST auditorium.
This course, he said would enhance the diagnostic skills of the medical professional and they could provide better medical care. Speaking on the occasion Dr Iqbal Malik, Managing Director, Teleson Pak Institute of Ultra-sound Education said that this programme was a humble effort of his organisation to keep pace with the modern medical education.
