The ongoing gigantic task of preparing new computerised voters lists would be completed by June 30, 2007, with an estimated cost of Rs 800 million. Secretary Election Commission Kunwar Dilshad on Sunday told a private TV news channel that the door-to-door campaign for distribution of forms was continuing.
A total of 10.25 million forms have so far been distributed across the country.
The services of 125,000 persons mostly teachers have been hired for the task.
