Please refer to the letter of Muhammad Iqbal published in the Business Recorder about two holidays, which is absolutely correct. I fully agree with the contents of the letter that two holidays, which our country cannot afford, and by which poor persons and daily wages earners are badly affected is not the solution of power shortages.
Industrial productions and export order will also be effected. Also with two holidays it will make it making impossible for children to concentrate on their studies. Unless extra classes are held, which some schools have already started, completing the syllabus will be a difficult task for the students and teachers. But it will become a burden for everyone involved.
