Deputy Inspector Police (DIG) Gujranwala Range, Malik Muhammad Iqbal has directed the all SHOs to exercise their abilities and take practical steps for reducing the crime graph in Gujranwala range.
Addressing a meeting held here on Monday he expressed displeasure over the poor performance of different police stations of Sialkot district and directed the concerned SHOs to apprehend the culprits immediately involved in serious crimes otherwise they will face serious action and they will be removed from their posts.
The DIG further directed the SHOs of Sialkot district that immediate action should be taken for thrashing out the hideouts and pulling the strings of criminals in their respective areas. Explaining his priorities the DIG Police said the arrest of escapees and proclaimed offenders was on top of the priority list.
In this regard he directed the SHOs that a vigorous drive should be launched for arresting new and old proclaimed offenders and recovery of illegal weapons and necessary arrangements should made for purging the crimes in their respective areas. DPO Sialkot, Zubair Nawaz Chattha, Addition SP, SP Investigation and SHOs of the district attended the meeting.
