The University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences Lahore and World Wide Fund for Nature Pakistan (WWF-Pakistan) have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to conduct joint surveys, field research and trainings in the area of wildlife.
Vice-chancellor Professor Dr Manzoor Ahmad and WWF-Pakistan Director General Ali Hassan Habib signed the MoU. Under the MoU, a partnership has been formed between the Department of Wildlife and Ecosystem of the UVAS and WWF-Pakistan for sustainable management of natural resources in the country. The agreement also includes information sharing, knowledge management and capacity building through transfer of skills.
