Princess Sarwar EI Hassan of Jordan on Wednesday announced to donate schools for girls in Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK). In this regard, a memorandum of understanding (MoU) signing ceremony was held in Erra Headquarters, PM Secretariat on Wednesday.
Erra Chairman Altaf Saleem and other officers representing Erra and the Citizen Foundation attended the ceremony. Jordan has been an active partner in relief phase and this ceremony indicates a long-term partnership with Jordan building girls schools in Muzzaffarabad.
The Erra chairman appreciated the role of Kingdom of Jordan and said Jordan stood by Pakistan in time of need and visit of Queen Rania and Princess Sarwat Ei Hassan to the earthquake hit areas shows solidarity with the people of Pakistan.
This MOU during the reconstruction phase was a symbol of long-term partnership with Jordan and he thanked Princess Sarwat Ei Hassan for personally taking interest in this reconstruction phase.
