Provincial Minister for Industries, Commerce and Investment, Muhammad Ajmal Cheema has said that tree plantation campaign would be started in all industrial estates of Punjab where over 500,000 trees to be planted during current tree plantation campaign.
He expressed these views while talking to journalists after inaugurating tree plantation campaign at Sunder Industrial Estate (SIE), here on Thursday.
The minister said that trees not only enhanced the natural beauty but also very useful against environmental pollution. He said that there was shortage of trees in Pakistan and along with government, NGOs should come forward and made the tree plantation campaign a great success. Earlier, the minister planted a tree at Sunder Industrial Estate.
