The Secretary-General of the Alliance for Restoration of Democracy (ARD), Iqbal Zafar Jhagra, said on Sunday that all democratic forces were united to oust the President Musharraf-led government.
Talking to a delegation of PML-N members belonging to Dera Ismail Khan, he said that all democratic forces were united on one-point agenda that clearly shows that time has arrived for the present rulers to go. He said that ARD and all other allied opposition parties would soon launch a struggle to oust the incumbent rulers who have failed on all fronts.
About the no-trust motion against Prime Minister Shaukat Aziz, he said that most of the members from ruling coalition were desperate and they see their defeat against opposition's struggle for democracy. He said that Nawaz Sharif has decided to return and was just waiting for a green signal from his party leadership.
The ARD Secretary told the delegation members that as the party's reorganisation had been completed, it would now restart workers' conventions across the country to further strengthen the party. The PML-N leader called upon party activists to forge unity in their ranks and play their important role in the opposition's agitation movement.
