Provincial Power Minister, Choudary Armughan Subhani has said that government was making adequate efforts for redressing the problems of flood affected people on to top priority basis.
He was addressing the flood affectees during his visit to flood stricken villages in Pasrur tehsil on Saturday said that government was fully aware of the problems being faced by the affectees. In order to ascertain the exact loss of property and crops a detailed survey would be carried out in flood-hit areas in Pasrur tehsil of Sialkot district.
The Provincial Power Minister on this occasion directed the health authorities that immediate steps should be taken for inoculating the people of affected villages of Pasrur tehsil. He also directed Sialkot district administration that all facilities including food and medical treatment facilities should be provided to the flood affectees on top priority basis.
It may be mentioned that five villages of tehsil Pasrur had been inundated while damaged the standing crops due to overflowing of seasonal nullah Dek tehsil Pasrur. However, no loss of life and property had so far been reported from affected villages.
