The 70th meeting of Quaid-e-Azam Mazar Management Board was held under the chairmanship of Makhdoom Faisal Saleh Hayat, Federal Minister for Environment/Chairman QMMB on Tuesday. The federal minister reviewed the overall performance of QMMB at the meeting and shown displeasure regarding the security of public, sanctity of the Mazar-e Quaid, and the functioning of the board.
He ordered a joint secretary level report in two weeks over the situation.
He also approved Rs 44 million budget to renovate the Mazar by giving option to install imported marble, construction of AC rooms at Quaid's Mausoleum and provide facilities to people to visit the mausoleum of great leader.
Earlier he visited the Mazar-e-Quaid and laid floral wreath and offered Fateha. He paid rich tribute to Father of Nation.-PR
