Warid Telecom International has signed a joint venture (JV) agreement with the Societe Des Telecommunication Du Congo, the telecommunication arm of the government of the Republic of Congo for the provision of mobile telecommunication services in the country.
Under the terms of the agreement, the joint venture company "Warid Congo SA" shall be awarded the necessary licenses to operate mobile, fixed line, wireless local loop, WIMAX, fibre optics and other related telecommunication services in the country.-PR
