Four newly established NTS centres at Punjab University College of Pharmacy, PU Old Campus, Undergraduate Block, Institute of Business & Information Technology and Institute of Administrative Sciences have started functioning.
A large number of candidates submitted their forms of entry test at various NTS centres for Punjab University's B.A/B.Sc. (Hons) (Undergraduate) programmes. Adequate facilities have been provided for the candidates in the newly established NTS centres, said a spokesman of Punjab University here on Wednesday.
Chairman admission committee, registrar and other officials visited the newly established centres in order to ensure the efficient working of the centres. Over 3,000 candidates obtained and submitted entry test forms for undergraduate studies on Wednesday.
The university also received the filled up forms of M.A/M.Sc. programmes through registered mail (Post Office) and courier service (TCS, SMS, OCS) in a large number. University of Punjab also opened two control centres at Syndicate Room, old campus and Waheed Shaheed Hall at new campus to supplement the postal services and to scrutinise master level entry test forms for distribution amongst relevant departments. The forms for master level admission test are available on the university website: www.pu.edu.pk and on newspapers with the admission notice (advertisement). A photocopy of such form will be accepted. Entry test forms for M.A/M.Sc. shall be accompanied by a draft of Rs 300 in favour of treasurer. However, the bank drafts already issued in favour of NTS and the roll number slips already issued by the NTS for masters level entry test will also be valid for the entry test.
