Former leg-spinner Abdul Qadir has held Pakistani coach Bob Woolmer responsible for massive 167 runs defeat in the third Test at Headingley Leeds. "What role our highly paid coach Bob Woolmer is playing in such a situation. Pakistan suffered massive defeat in Manchester and so is in Leeds," he said.
With their second successive victory, after having won the Manchester Test by an innings and 120 runs England took unassailable 2-0 lead in four match series. Last Test match will be played at the Oval London from August 17. By taking 2-0 lead in the series, Englishmen avenged their 0-2 defeat on their last year's tour to Pakistan.
In his reaction, Qadir blamed poor batting in second innings as major reasons which cost Pakistan, Leeds Test and the series. "Our batsmen really batted poorly on a good pitch and early run out of Yousuf proved disaster for Pakistan," he said.
About Pakistani bowling, he said had our bowlers bowled with good line and length they could had restricted England in the first innings. Leg-spinner Danish Kaneria also did not prove effective.
