Vice President of Alliance for Restoration of Democracy (ARD) and Chief of Pakistan Democratic Party (PDP), Nawabzada Mansoor Ahmed Khan has said that Chief Election Commissioner should take suo motu action against General Pervez Musharraf for launching an election drive of Muslim League.
Talking to newsmen at the residence of Shaikh Muhammad Aslam, Nawabzada Mansoor said if General Pervez Musharraf wanted to show his impartiality and fairness than he should resign forthwith.
PDP Chief said that Musharraf was not acceptable in both civil and military offices. He rejects elections under the supervision of Pervez Musharraf. He said that Charter of Democracy was an essence of bitter experiences of politicians.
He said that government was recruiting 8,000 non-commissioned army personnel for educational institutions to attain positive results in the elections.
Nawabzada said that stock exchange scam and privatisation of Pakistan Steel Mills (PSM) had exposed the nefarious designs of the rulers who were claiming to be champion of honesty, fairness, and decency.
