Foreign exchange reserves rose by $54.3 million to $12,779.3 million from $12,725 million in the week ended on August 5, 2006 the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) said here on Thursday.
Reserves held by the SBP rose to $10,376 million from $10,326.6 million a week earlier, however, those held by the commercial banks rose to $2,403.3 million from $2,398.4 million.
