The Sindh University (SU) has finalised all arrangements for celebrations of 59th "Independence Day" in befitting manner with zeal and fervour on August 14 at its both campuses.
In connection with Independence Day celebrations, flag hoisting and national anthem ceremonies will be held at Allama I. I. Kazi Campus, Jamshoro and Elsa Kazi Campus, Hyderabad.
SU Vice Chancellor Mazharul Haq Siddiqui will be the chief guest at Allama I. I. Kazi Campus Jamshoro, while noted scholar and professor Emeritus Dr N.A. Baloch will be the chief guest at Elsa Kazi Campus Hyderabad.
Passing out parade of scouts of Dr N.A Baloch Model School, Security Guards and Police will also be held, while a tug of war match between two teams of University employees will be held on the occasion. The national songs would be shown at screen at Madr-e-Millat Fatima Jinnah Girls Gymnasium of the University.
Deans of Faculties, heads of teaching institutes and departments, sectional heads of administration, employees and students will be attending the occasion. The University's point buses will ply from different routes from Hyderabad to Jamshoro for teachers, officers and employees.
