In a major move, the Central Board of Revenue (CBR) has reshuffled 17 officers of Customs and Excise Group (BS-20) and 40 of the Income Tax Group (Grade-19 & 20) with immediate effect.
Four senior officials of the Income Tax Group (BS-19) have been transferred and posted within the board: Khawar Saeed Akhtar, Chief (FATE) (OPS), CBR to Secretary (FATE-II), CBR. He will also look after the work of the Chief (FATE), in addition to his own duties, till availability of regular incumbent.
Farida Amjad has been transferred as Chief (HRM)(OPS), CBR from Secretary (Tax Reforms), DT Wing, CBR. She will also look after the work of Chief (International Taxes), CBR, in addition to her own duties, till the posting of regular incumbent.
Dr Muhammad Irshad, Secretary (Tax Base), CBR to Secretary (TO-I), CBR and Dr Muhammad Naeem, Secretary (TO-I), CBR to Secretary (Special Initiatives), CBR.
Transfers/postings of following BS-19 officers are also made with immediate effect: Muhammad Asghar Chaudhry, SA to Secretary General, Revenue Division/Chairman, CBR with additional charge of Secretary (HRC), CBR to Secretary (Management), CBR and Aziz-ur-Rehman Malik, Secretary (Management), CBR to Secretary (Discipline and Litigation).

According to another notification, Mushtaq Ahmed Sehto, a BS-19 officer of Income Tax Group, presently posted as Additional Commissioner of Income Tax, Hyderabad Zone, Hyderabad, has been given new assignment as Commissioner of Income Tax (Appeals), Hyderabad.
Sajjad Ahmed, a BS-19 officer of Income Tax Group, presently posted as Commissioner of Income Tax (OPS), Companies-II, Corporate Region, Karachi would now work as Commissioner of Income Tax (OPS), Sukkur Zone, Sukkur.
Muhammad Zulfiqar, a BS-19 officer of Income Tax Group, presently posted as Additional Commissioner of Income Tax, Multan Zone, Multan is transferred and posted as Commissioner of Income Tax (Appeals), Multan.
