Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited (SNGPL) Managing Director Abdul Rasheed Lone and Orient Power Company Limited (OPCL) Chief Executive Officer Nadeem Babar inked the gas supply agreement.
They inked on behalf of their organisations for supply of 38 MMCFD to the OPCL for 225 megawatts independent power plant (IPP) pursuant to power policy 2002, located at Balloki Tehsil Pattoki, District Kasur. A spokesman of SNGPL said that this project would help overcome the shortage of electricity in the country.
