Defence Minister Rao Sikandar Iqbal has said that the country's defence is so strong and credible that nation can depend on its strength. He said the government is on way to increase defence capabilities of the country in accordance to a well-thought-out strategy.
Talking to the reporters here, he said that the nation could not afford any compromise on defence and security of the country. "We have to learn the lesson from the situation of Iraq and Lebanon".
Commenting on the political situation, the minister said that opposition's attempt of no-confidence motion against Prime Minister would fail. He alleged that opposition is trying to destabilise the country on political front through negatives political tactics.
