The Bank of Punjab opened its display centre in Defence Housing Authority here on Saturday to provide products of leading manufacturers on instalment to members and employees of DHA. Administrator, DHA, Brigadier Fazal Nawaz Khan inaugurated the centre while President BoP, Hamesh Khan was also present on the occasion.
The display centre had been set up under an agreement between BoP and DHA and was a part of series of display units being set up in Lahore, Karachi and Islamabad. Products of companies like LG, Osim, Pel, Samsung, Sony, National, Chimra, Acer, Orient, Shapes etc would be available at the centre.
Briefly talking to newsmen on the occasion, Brigadier Fazal Nawaz Khan said that DHA not only provide housing facilities to people but also take care of their other requirements and setting up of this display centre was a step in this regard.
Regarding various DHA projects, he said DHA would ensure completion of all projects of hospitals, schools, clubs, parks roads etc in its different phases by local and foreign inverters as per specification on time.
To a question he said, DHA's phase 8 here would be launched by the end of current year. To a question regarding Badian and Burki roads, he said provincial government had already given approval for their dualisation.
