The residents of Street No 2 Cavalry ground, while expressing their concern over deteriorating law and order situation in the area, have demanded police high-ups to ensure protection of life and property of its law-abiding citizens.
They said that during the last 15 days, four dacoity incidents took place in Street No 2, in which dacoits took away hard cash worth Rs 1.5 million, jewellery, mobile phones and other valuables. Due to these incidents, the residents of the area were feeling themselves insecure, they said.
