Four bodies recovered from canal

The bodies of a person were recovered here late Tuesday who committed suicide by drowning in a nearby canal. According to Bhera police, Sajjad of Hazoorpur village was depressed due to domestic disputes. On August 14, he took his two daughters Sajida (6), Abida (4) and son Ali Hussain (18-months) to flooded Shahpur Canal and jumped into the water.
All the four drowned and their bodies were recovered from different points along the stretch of the canal. After post-mortem at Rural Health Centre Bhera, the deceased were buried at a local graveyard. Bhera police are investigating the tragic incident.
