Banks' BoD meetings abroad

Please refer to the news that appeared in the press that the State Bank has allowed our banks in Pakistan to hold the maximum of four BoD meetings outside Pakistan.
It is learnt that the Habib Bank is going to hold meeting in Paris in which about 60/70 senior executives and more persons will travel and stay in the best hotel in Paris. Why are not such meetings in Pakistan. The Faisal Bank will arrange meetings in Recreational City Overseas.
I would like to suggest that bank meetings should be held in Islamabad, Bhurban or any other place in Pakistan instead of Paris/Geneva. After all we are Pakistanis. The State Bank of Pakistan should not allow such meetings abroad as the poor shareholders will get nothing. The decision of the State Bank of Pakistan is not fair at all.
