Pak-American Rs 720 million endowment fund has been created at University of Agriculture, Faisalabad (UAF) with the active financial support of USA. This fund would be utilised for academic capacity building, technology transfer and product commercialisation.
A preliminary meeting of this endowment fund was held here with chairman fund vice-chancellor, Professor Dr Bashir Ahmed.
The meeting decided to invite proposals from the stakeholders for agriculture research in the relevant fields. A policy guideline was also approved in this meeting.
