The Sindh Irrigation and Power Department on Monday said the Indus River was rising at Kotri Barrage and medium flood was expected during next 24 hours. While the river was flowing in low flood at Gudu Barrage and medium flood at Sukkur Barrage, and there may be low flood at both barrages during next 24 hours.
The department said that flood situation was under control and all front bunds on both banks of the River Indus in Sindh were reported safe and intact.
The situation along LBOD was reported safe with no cuts and breaches, the department said. The Indus River discharges at Gudu, Sukkur and Kotri Barrage as recorded at 6.00 am on Monday were as under:
