Lightning kills six near Bisham

At least six people, including three children were killed in a lightning strike near the town of Bisham in a monsoon thunderstorm, police and reports said on Tuesday. Family members of a local councillor Javed Khan were struck at 2am, when they were asleep at village Kot Madakhel, some one-and-half kilometer from Bisham.
Locals recovered four bodies from a nearby water channel. Search for other two continued. Reports said that thunderstorm and heavy rains in the area have also destroyed several houses and standing crops. Many parts of the country have received heavy in recent days, causing casualties and damage to property.
