Pain management center set up

With a view to providing pain relief services to patients suffering from severe cancer pain and other chronic painful conditions, Lahore General Hospital (LGH) has established the 'cancer pain management center'. The center will work under the supervision of Department of Anaesthesia, Intensive Care and Pain Management head Professor Dr Khalid Bashir.
This is the first center in the public sector hospitals, which will work to relieve cancer patients from pain on scientific basis.
