Baitul Maal gives Rs 320 million to needy

Punjab Baitul Maal department is extending grant to the NGOs for the public welfare projects and it has distributed Rs 320 million to the deserving people during the last three years.
Provincial Minister for Baitul Maal, Chaudhry Muhammad Ijaz Shafi said this while talking to delegations of NGOs and scholars, here on Tuesday. He said grant for the welfare purposes will be enhanced so that facility of health and education could be made available to the needy people.
