Teachers unions and political parties have strongly condemned the imposition of ban on Teachers Union, Police torture on protesting teachers and their arrests and demanded their immediate release.
Pakistan Trade Union Defence Campaign, Youth for International Socialism, and Pakistan People's Party leaders Comrade Asad Pitafi, Manzoor Qadri, Hashim Khan Babur, Muhammad Aslam Ansari, Hamid Awan, Raees uddin, Zeeshan Shehzad, Ghulam Mustafa Malik Muhammad Amjad, Waqas Ahmed, Comrade Ishaq, Muhammad Hussain, Comrade Anum, and Comrade Naeem Pasha expressed their solidarity with Sindhi teachers.
