Provincial Minister for Mines and Minerals (M&M), Muhammad Sibtain Khan has directed the officers concerned of Mine Welfare Organisation to prepare a master plan for the welfare of mine workers.
While chairing a meeting of Mines Welfare Organisation, here on Saturday, the minister directed to prepare feasibility report of all developmental schemes as soon as possible.
He further directed to enhance the number of dispensaries to facilitate the mineworkers, their families, the attendance of doctors and medical staff must be ensured. He also advised to prepare feasibility report to set-up new labour colonies in mining areas especially in Khushab, Mianwali and Chakwal.
