The agriculture extension department Sindh has directed District Officers Agriculture Extension to seize products of 39 pesticide companies whose registration has been cancelled.
According to press release issued here on Monday, the companies whose registration had been cancelled include: Sun Rise Agro Chemicals, Prizm Agro Marketing, Farm Care Services, Folior Chemicals, Agri Pest Management, Jaffar Bros, Archar Chemicals, King ARP Link, Bayer Das, Corex Agro Chemicals, Global Enterprises, Cotton Growers Services, Zargo NPC, Sharp Agro Business, Kuwait Enterprises, Sada Bahar Agro Chemicals, Heera Pesticides, World Qismat, Wel Agro Wise, Al-Farid Corporation, Al-Fateh Trading Corporation, Apex Agro Chemicals, Millat Agro Services, Rainbow Agri Business, Panam Chemicals, Helb Pesticides, Shandar Agro Chemicals, Arabian Sea International, Exin Chemicals, Agri King, Rose Wood, Crop Guard Agro Chemicals, Help Agro Chemicals, Zainex Agro Chemicals, AMB Agro Services, Thakur Agro Chemicals, Top Class Enterprises, Orient Chemicals and Farm Eco Enterprises.
The agriculture extension department had declared unfit 5 samples of pesticides and one sample of fertiliser after their chemical analysis conducted by Agriculture chemists of Hyderabad and Tando Jam.
The unfit pesticides samples were drawn from possession of pesticides and fertiliser dealers namely Imdad Ali Shah Sherazi Pesticides of Nawabshah, Veen Ban of Mirpur Mathelo, Sajjad Hussain Sarhari district Sanghar, Shamsuddin Mugheri of Waghan district Kamber Shahdadkot, Arain Pesticides Jhudo Road Tando Jan Muhammad and Darshan Lal of Ubaro.
