Azad Jammu and Kashmir Prime Minister Sardar Attiq Ahmed Khan has invited overseas Kashmiris and Pakistani to make agro-industrial investments to expedite industrialisation.
He told the reporters on dinners, arranged by the Saudi Arabia-based Kashmir and Pakistani community that "You can make investment of any size without fear about your capital. The investment capital would be fully protected," he assured.
AJK Prime Minister urged that the government removed all impediments in the way of investment from red-tape delays to cutting short the case maturing period. "Now you do not need to wait for months to raise an industry in AJK. All cumbersome procedures have been shortened to set up necessary machinery far new industries within days," he assured.
He made it clear that there was immense potential in the tourism and hydel power generation. Azad Kashmir is richest in water resources, which needed industrial harnessing and electricity production by thousands megawatts, he said.
He lauded the dedicated spirit of the overseas Kashmiris and Pakistani and praised their relief role in the October 2005 earthquake in Azad Kashmir and NWFP.
He highly praised the world NGOs role in reconstruction and rehabilitation in the quake-hit areas.
