Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) convenor Dr Farooq Sattar has announced members' names of the organising committee of the party's Punjab wing. The committee will organise the party in the province and make arrangements for participation in the forthcoming general elections.
While addressing a press conference here on Monday, the MQM leader said Iftikhar Akbar Randhawa and S. Almas Kazmi advocate would be the organiser and joint-organiser, respectively, in Punjab.
Other members are: Ghiasuddin Janbaz (Toba Tek Singh), Inamur Rehman (Faisalabad), Mushtaq Mughal advocate (Rahim Yar Khan), Rana Muhammad Arif (Multan), Aamir Sultan Goraya advocate (Kot Addu), Dr Abu Bakar (Bahawalpur), Rana Sajid Mehmud advocate (Sargodha), Tufail Thakar advocate (Lodhran), Aslam Betalvi advocate (Khanewal), Muhammad Ali Jawaid (Sheikhupura), Fayyaz Ali Ansari (Okara), Malik Abid Mehmud (Islamabad), Mateen Khan (Rawalpindi) and Naeem Arshad Shamas from Sahiwal.
