The National Database and Registration Authority (Nadra) have established 41 kiosks at the Tehsil level to collect utility bills.
Faisalabad Electric Supply Corporation (Fesco) Director Commercial, Rana Javed Ahmed Khan told to newsmen that "These machines are functioning round-the-clock seven days a week to receive the bills," he said, adding that the Fesco had inked an agreement with the Nadra for the payment of electricity bills through its kiosks in June.
He said that the Nadra had established its kiosks at Chiniot, Jaranwala, Shorkot, Bhalwal, Khurarianwala, Tandlianwala, Noorpur Thal, Chak Jhumra, Sahiwala, Sargodha, Naushera, Isakhel, Darya Khan, Kloorkot, Piplan and Chenabnagar.
He said that consumers could get themselves registered with any kiosk by providing a copy of the computerised national identity card (CNIC).
