ISE index up 76.65 points

Bulls strengthened their positions at the Islamabad Stock Exchange (ISE) where equities showed healthy signs under the lead of hot favourite amid increase in index. ISE-10 index was plus by 76.65 points, as it moved from 2,519.17 to 2,595.82 shares. The overall turnover stood at 277,600 shares as compared to previous volume of 311,500 shares.
Total 108 companies participated in buying and selling activity. Majority of stocks (59) closed in positive territory, 49 landed in plus column. The volume of PTCL was 116,000 shares as compared to previous turnover of 88,000 shares. The turnover of PPTA was 50,000 shares. The volume of OGDCL was 33,000 shares as compared to previous turnover of 21,600 shares.
