Equities continued to show healthy signs under the lead of trend-setters at the Islamabad Stock Exchange (ISE) where bulls dominated the proceedings amid increase in index. ISE Ten index showed an improvement of 26.25 points, as the Ten index moved from 2,595.82 to 2,622.07 shares.
The volume of trade amounted to 472,100 shares as compared to previous turnover of 277,600 shares. The horizon of trade expanded from 108 stocks to 120 companies. Majority of stocks (91) closed in positive territory, 29 closed in negative zone, whereas zero company remained pegged to its previous levels.
The volume of PTCL was 217,000 shares as compared to previous turnover of 116,000 shares. The volume of OGDCL was 76,900 shares as compared to previous turnover of 33,000 shares. The volume of PPL was 66,200 shares.
