A total of 27 candidates on Tuesday filed their nomination papers for four Chamber Class, four Associate Class and one Trade Group seat elections scheduled for September 20 and 21, respectively.
As many as 14 candidates filed their papers for four Associate Class seats while for four Chamber Class seats 10 people filed their papers and three candidates submitted their nominations for one seat of Trade Group. Final list of candidates would be issued on September 7 after scrutiny.
THOSE WHO FILED PAPERS FOR FOUR SEATS OF ASSOCIATE CLASS ARE: Mubasher Sheikh, Shahid Hasan Sheikh, Mohammad Riaz, Mohammad Ashraf, Fawad A. Malik, Shehryar Ahmad Baksh, Ilyas Majeed Sheikh, Chaudhry Zahid Bashir, Mohammad Akram Malik, Mohammad Saeed Ahmad, Mohammad Arif, Raja Abdul Sattar, Shahid Muteen Khawaja and Mohammad Ilyas.
For four seats of Chamber Class Farooq Hameed, Shafiq Riaz, Khawaja Imtiaz Ahmad, Malik Mohammad Abid, Shamim Ahmad Malik, Babar Mehmood, Syed Mohammad Umair, Muqaddas Aleem, Mohammad Anis Mufti and Mian Muzaffar Ali have filed their papers. For one seat of Trade Group G.R. Siddique, Ghulam Sarwar and Mohammad Arshad have filed their nomination papers.
