Wheat futures at the Chicago Board of Trade were lower early on Wednesday on a setback from the previous session's rally that drove prices to fresh six-week highs, traders said. At 10:02 am CDT (1502 GMT), CBOT wheat was down 3/4 to 3-1/2 cents per bushel, with September down 2 at $4.02 per bushel.
"Wheat is already priced pretty high and I just think we're going to bounce around here for awhile," a trader said. Traders and analysts said the wheat market would remain volatile, with dwindling global stocks of wheat and active exports underpinning prices.
