Pakhtoon Action Committee (Loya Jirga) will stage a protest gathering as a part of people contact drive on Sunday at Lasbela Chowk. Spokesman of Loya Jirga said on Saturday that the staging of protest gathering was aimed at fighting for the rights of suppressed people in the city.
He denied any rift between had occurred between Pukhtoon Action Committee and its coalition partners of the movement including PPP, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (TI) and others. He said all of its partners of the movement would participate in the committee's called gathering on Sunday. "We have firm relationship with the central and provincial leadership of the PPP and TI and they are supporting our campaign," the spokesman added.
