International Seminar on Space Technology and Application would start at Institute of Space Technology (IST) here on September 11. A large number of scientists, technologists and educationists from Azerbaijan, Bangladesh, Belarus, China, France, Indonesia, Iran, Jordan, Oman, Pakistan, Sudan, Syria and the UK are participating in the four-day seminar.
Raza Hussain, President of Inter-Islamic Network on Space Sciences and Technology (Isnet), who is also the chairman of Space and Upper Atmosphere Research Commission (Suparco), will inaugurate the seminar. The seminar would highlight the need of developing space technology necessary for benefiting of lives in area of television, technology, the internet, global navigation satellite systems, satellite imaging, weather forecasting, land and nature management, environmental production, and precision agriculture.
