Army Chief confirms death sentences of 13 more terrorists
RAWALPINDI: Army chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa on Friday validated death sentences of 13 more hardcore terrorists including those involved in Bacha Khan University attack among other high-profile terrorism acts.
A statement issued by Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) said the terrorists were involved in killing 325 people and causing injuries to 366 others overall.
These terrorists also include those who planned and executed attacks on Bacha Khan University Charsada, Parade Lane Mosque Rawalpindi, Marriott Hotel Islamabad, Office of World Vision NGO at Mansehra and an educational institution at Nawagai Buner, said the statement by the media wing of Pakistan Army.
Fire-arms and explosives were also recovered from possession of the convicts, who were tried by military courts, the statement added.
