Deputy Parliamentary Leader of MMA in the National Assembly, Hafiz Hussain Ahmad has said that the government should present the recommendations of the parliamentary committee to the Parliament if it is sincere on Balochistan issue.
In an interview with a private TV channel, he said if there was a need of some amendments to the Constitution for it, legislation was made for it. Secondly, sense of deprivation of Baloch should be removed and the government should appoint a local person as Balochistan Governor, he added.
The MMA leader said that military operation should be halted immediately and all the detained Baloch people should be released. "I think, the people of Balochistan would never be satisfied if the government tries to resolve the issue through force", he clarified.
The MMA joined the PML in the Balochistan government under an agreement demanding provincial autonomy, gas royalty, employment to Baloch and other issues in Balochistan. Besides this, the MMA also presented a point regarding Islamisation in the province, Hafiz Hussain recalled.
