Some unidentified thieves barged into the offices of two brokerages houses on the 5th floor of Karachi Stock Exchange (KSE) building and looted cash and important documents here on Tuesday evening.
According to details some unknown persons broke into the offices of WE Financial Services Room No 506 and Ample Securities Room Nos 501 & 502 located at the fifth floor of the KSE and looted uncounted cash and worthy documents.
Farman Aghai, manager operation, WE Financial Services told Business Recorder on Wednesday that they had informed the KSE management about the incident, however, he refused to reveal further details.
Representative of Ample Securities said that they were informed about the incident at 9.30pm by the security personnel, which showed that the incident occurred between 6.00pm to 9.00pm or most probably around Iftar. Interestingly, the incident occurred despite all the floors of the KSE building are equipped with close circuit cameras and deployment of security guards.
