The Lahore High Court (LHC) has dismissed a petition filed by a member of the Supreme Court Bar Association (SCBA) Abdul Sattar Chughtai praying to the court to extend the SCBA tenure for further one year.
The petitioner contended that existing body of SCBA is working efficiently. He therefore prayed to the court to allow the petition and extend the tenure of the bar for one year more. The court, after hearing the petitioner at length, dismissed the petition in limine for being not maintainable.
