Sindh Governor Dr Ishratul Ibad Khan has said Sindh is safe for foreign investment and its untapped resources offer better opportunities to high tech companies.
He was talking to a delegation of Trade and Investment Framework Agreement, which called on him in the leadership of US Consul General Mary H Witt at the Governor House on Friday.
The governor briefed the delegation on the opportunities of investment in various sectors and suggested that investment in high tech sector could bring better returns to them than investment in traditional sectors, which are already in plenty.
He identified mining, energy, oil & gas and infrastructure sectors where a lot of opportunities are still in existence. The governor told the delegation that the government was committed to facilitate investors and provide them security. The delegation assured the governor that they would brief the American investors and persuade them to visit Pakistan and make business decisions.
