All Parties Hurriyat Conference (AJK chapter) has demanded of the Indian government to withdraw death warrants issued against Muhammad Afzal Guru and called upon the international community and the United Nations to play their active part in saving Guru from the execution.
Hurriyat activists staged a sit-in outside the UN Military Observers Group for India and Pakistan (UNMOGIP) on Friday to protest against the death sentence of Muhammad Afzal Guru for his alleged involvement in attack on Indian parliament.
