NWFP senior minister Sirajul Haq has said the MMA government is concerned on dilapidated condition of Timergara-Dir Khas highway wherein authorities concerned of the federal government, including the President and Prime Minister have been informed.
However, he revealed at a meeting of all parliamentarians, including MNAs, MPAs, senators and provincial ministers belonging to Malakand region would be convened at Islamabad after Eidul Fitr to announce future line of action if progress was not made by the NHA during Ramazan.
He was talking to a delegation led by Malik Behram Khan, former MPA at Dir Khas during his visit of the area. The delegation apprised the senior minister of the plight of this important highway, linking the three districts of Dir Lower, Upper and Chitral with the rest of the country and problems faced by the people there.
The delegation included Dir Upper district naib nazim Azizul Haq, nazim Sanaullah, Inamullah, Shafiullah, Dr Najeeb Alam, Maulana Sher Muhammad and other elite of the area. The senior minister also assured all-out help to the delegation in resolving problems.
