Singapore bunker prices were lower on Friday, as the premium to fuel oil cargo values stayed around $1-$2 a tonne amid poor demand for a fifth consecutive day.
Prices for the 380-centistoke (cst) bunker fuel were pegged at $282-$284 a tonne, down $4 from Thursday's Asian close, while its differential to fuel oil was steady at $1.20.
"It's still the same old story as the last week. There's not much demand to go around and only the low-end guys who are prepared to sell at discounts to cargo values are fixing any deliveries," a Singapore-based supplier said.
